5 Austin Venues for the Perfect Weekend Retreat

If you had the chance to have all your loved ones from every corner of your life under one roof… would you take it?

You may choose to have your next celebration extends over multiple days instead of just one. This structure offers more time to connect with guests and for your guests to build lasting memories through a series of events like a welcome party, wedding day ceremony and reception, and a farewell brunch. It is a popular trend for international destination weddings, allowing couples to create a shared experience beyond the single wedding day.

We often hear from clients that they want to leave their day being able to connect with everyone without the time pressure of venue open and exit time requirements. But finding the right venue can be a challenge. That’s why we’ve put together a list of our favorite Austin locations that lend to the dream weekend retreat experience.

Are you looking for a space that can be exclusively yours?

Honorable Mention

Camp Lucy: We love Camp Lucy for several reasons - namely its origin story, its beauty and charm. The main reason that it’s not in our top 5 is because it isn’t normally an exclusive property rental. But as of 2025 they provide that option.

  • Pro: you can rent their series of beautiful cabanas to hold your entire wedding party, immediate family, and many of your guests depending on party size.

  • Pro: They have onsite dining

  • Con: With several event spaces on the premises, and a separate restaurant open to the public, there could be several weddings happening on the same day.
